    Large cage supplier
I have my Arg. Red Tegu in a 36x18x18 for now as he or she is only about 18". I saw somewhere a source for large, (6-8') cages that were reasonably priced, as in $400 - $500.
Does anyone out there know where to find one?

THANK YOU! They actually have a 6'x30 on sale for less than $400. The only problem I see is the doors and getting a 3-4 foot tegu in and out. I am thinking that a top lid would be better.

I wouldn't go with a top lid. Everything I've read says that coming at them from the top freaks them out. We had my nile in one of the sliding fronts while we were working on his new enclosure and it was ok (though he was ready to jump out whenever he saw us slide open the door).

Make sure if you get the sliding one that you get the locking one and USE IT... our nile is a genius and figured out how to get a couple talons out of the cage and work on it all night to pull it open... that only had to happen once to make sure we had that sucker locked every time we opened it!!
