    Ventilated Rack System
Anyone see these and or know place that has them for sale. This site I can seem to find a price, and this would increase production a lot by killing bacteria and odor.

IM sure this is for Labs, but if not priced as a new car might look into them.

Trying to cut down cleaning from every 2-3 days to at least 5 days. Gets costly very fast, but im looking into a air purifier that does odor.

If anyone knows of a good air system for the room that will help kill odor more and kill the dust particles they kick up.

Rich, I checked in with the university coop purchasing system I have and found call for pricing...

I poked about some and found a open purchase history , the micro vent (rack only) for 140 cages, was 13,850.00 no ventilation unit or cages just the auto water. the the double sided shelf system was $1505. The laminar flow unit (?) is an additional 12000. I am not sure if you need that it is a different PO# so not sure what that is. It looks like they ordered 140 cages but it only states list price less a % discount no price.

It looks like it is quite expensive unit.

Yea for that price it better clean my mice and wipe their butts too.

I think if i had time id just make my own system with some air filters with Duct work connected to a vent.

These are mostly for Labs to be sure contaminants are minimal. Ill never pay that for a rack

I have one of these in my garage where I do woodworking. It works GREAT for dust control as far as airborne particulates. I really don't know about odor control as that isn't something I've ever looked into it for. I don't know if one of the ionic-HEPA-latest/greatest filter things would work better or not for dust and odor control...anyway, just my two cents for what I use for dust:

That system looks to be for shops to keep all the dust down on production lines

I did fine one for $200 that does 1500ag ft that has the HEPA and carbon filters. Says does great on odor and allergens.

I bought a big hepa filter from Lowes a few months ago for my rat garage and it does a great job getting rid of dust, but it's worthless for smell. The only thing that worked for me was installing an exhaust fan.

I have a honeywell HEPA system in snake room that does 150sq ft every 10 mins.

Smell is about 30% better and particles in air is getting less. My sister is allergic to pine and would be dieing in the house. Since putting this on 2 days ago shes not have one attack.
