I have a rack with heat cable in the same room I have one with flexwatt, the heat cable seems to fluctuate about 4 or 5 degrees while the flexwatt barely fluctuates. I also notice that my herpstat ND is constantly jumping up and down as far as power usage is concerned. I see the one with heat cable use anywhere from 0% to 100% power while the heat tape stays right around 30 or 40%% at all times. Is this normal, do you guys notice the same thing with your heat cable?
