Finally ate!!!!!

just wanted to post a bit of an update,,,,,after 10 1/2 months of refusing every kind of food i could think of,,,,my 09 female spider FINALLY ate an adult live mouse!!!!,,,man it was a fricken nerve racking ordeal,but i guess its over with.I sure wish biologists and herpetologists could figure out why it is that Ball Pythons do that. I mean REALLY???,,,ten months without eating anything at all,and no noticeable side effects from it? wish i could do that,the i would finally be able to see my toes again amongst other things,,,,,HAAAAAA HAAAAA,,,,,have an AWESOME day everybody and thatnk you guys for alll your help!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Glad to hear it! My 09 pastel is going on her 10th month too, this gives me hope! She won't even take an asf!

By all means dont lose hope!,,,,i was totally going crazy even though all the research i did was saying that its normal for ball pythons to do that. I dont remember who it was but somebody on this site told me that if my snake was eating before,,,then she will eat again. Totally true. just keep trying to feed once a week and eventually she will eat. Hang in there!!!:)
