So I hadn't quite understood what people meant when they said their females get a little eager when it comes to feeding this time of year until today. Boy do I get it now!
Both Sally and Bonnie are of breeding weight, Bonnie has for the last three weeks been locking. Tonight when I fed both girls literally came out of their tubs after the rats. I could barely get them in tongs fast enough. I was so used to being able to take the tops off their tubs, grab the rat, then calmly get it set up and begin wiggling. But not this time... oh no.
Piggy girls are getting all insistant at feeding time! I guess from now on I am going to have to make sure I have the rat in the tongs and ready at the top of the tub to suit them lol.
