Scale Rot?

Today I went to throw in my male Pastel Lesser with my Mocha and noticed this under her face. Does.it look like scale rot?

Husbandry is an acceptable section for this in my opinion. Can you make the picture bigger?

Do you feed live? They almost look like scratches or bites?

Yep. Fed a couple of days ago, she wrapped it instantly, but I didnt see it hurt her. As wrong as its gonna sound, I hope thats it.

I'd put some neosporin on it (without the pain killer) and keep her on paper towels or newspaper. It looks more like a bite or scratch to me than it does scale rot.

I'm almost done treating a very mild case on a single scale of similar size, but that doesn't look like rot to me. Either way, I'd take the same advice people would give you regardless based on the most basic of universal medical care. Disinfect and apply ointment for minor wounds, scratches, and burns. In the case of snakes, whether its a burn, rot, or bite, it's okay to apply chlorhexidine(just dab with a q-tip) from what I've heard then apply antibiotic ointment(make sure to scrape off the excess so it doesn't cake on, the concern with regular ointment is that when people do that it can cause scales to fall off).

If it spreads, however, the wound has either become infected or you do have a case of scale rot. Just go with these basics and you should be fine.
