    I've heard that you can use distilled white vinegar with water to spray into the tubs to clean them but I was wondering what the ratio is of water to vinegar. Anyone ever used this method?

    yes vinegar is a disinfectant. My understanding is that if you want it is a disinfectant I believe that regular food (not pickling) you would use straight. If you are using it as a cleanser many dilute it 1:1 or 1:2.
