Thermostat probe placement in rack help!
Can someone tell me exactly where you put your thermostat probe in a rack? And this is not a rack where there are three tubs in one shelf. Where do you put the probe for a rack with one tub per shelf? I'm having a tough time finding where to put it because the edges of the heat tape seem to be lower than the hot spot. Like i have my thermostat probe on the edge and it reads 95 degrees while the middle of the heat tape reads around 100-102.

im assuming ur using flexwatt. i found with flexwatt there is usually a +/-5% variation in temp on the flexwatt so the center being warmer is normal. my rack system has one tub per shelf and i put the probe in the center of my 11''.
