I have my het. pied boy in with a female (normal) and I put them together on Saturday (first pairing of the season). As of Wednesday, he was still courting and locking with her. Every time I've gone to separate them, their tails have been locked or close to it, so I've left them be. Hopefully when I get home, he'll have taken a break and I can separate to feed.
