Laying on her side even before any pairing.
    Hey all,

My breeding season has not started as of yet. I was going to start my pairings in a week or so. But I did notice one of my females laying on her side this evening. Could this be a sign that she is building follicles? Should I start pairing her with my selected male due to this observation? Or is this just her laying in a different position? Anyone have any experience with this? I look forward to hearing your responses. Thanks for reading.

Oh yea... She ate yesterday. Could this just be her digesting her food? I have never seen her do this before.

It is normal.....I have males that lay on their backs......it is not always a sign of anything.

Thanks for the reply Jason. That is what I was thinking. Maybe I am getting over excited to get the season started. Thanks again.
