Pastel or Super?

I bought this guy as a pastel, but he seems very bright to me and has a nice blushed head w/ lots of flames coming up his sides. I was talking to the "breeder" while in the process of purchasing him and he had to think for about 30 seconds to come up with what the sire & dam were. Something tells me he either did not produce the snake or he has know clue what he paired. What are your thoughts? If it is just a pastel...I am still very happy!

P.s. This is after 3 or 4 sheds.

really nice regular pastel

It's a very nice pastel. The blacks on supers are very gray and the heads are usually faded more.

I believe he is a regular pastel. His head and markings aren't light enough.

Cool! I figured he was, but I wanted to run him by a few more sets of eyes. I just started thinking maybe there was a possibility of him being a lower quality super. Either way I'm happy with him.

Yup very nice pastel. I like quality snakes so I would be happier with a killer looking pastel than a shabby looking super. Congrats on the great looking snake! :gj:

I agree 100%, you should be very happy. Pastels are getting to the point where quality pastels are selling for as much as low quality supers.

Yep just a pastel but I agree with everyone else you have a very nice pastel and if it was a super the genetics would have been somewhat weak so congrats on the good pickup.
