    Aggresive females during breeding season...
Ok, so as of yesterday I had never been bitten by any of my snakes. Last night I was struck at by 2 different snakes and actually bitten by a 3rd. All were females that are currently resting from breeding. It was feeding time, but the one that bit me got my forearm as I was opening her tub and the others were flat out striking at me as I opened their tubs. My question is do females tend to get grumpy during breeding season? They all ate like mad and I have a feeling that at least one of them is already gravid. There was even one striking the side of her tub where my hand was as I was sliding it out. Males are still sweet as can be but the girls are flippin CRAZY!!!! :8:

LOL, mine are the same way right now. As soon as I walk in the room with rats the females are at the front of their tubs waiting.

No bites on this end yet though.

It's what big girls do this time of year, you can try feeding them into submission :P
Mine are ravenous and if they do as they did the last couple of years then their feeding frenzy will slow down in December/January

My Cinni girls must be in breeding season all year long then. All of my females are spot on right now when it comes to feeding or cleaning cages.
