Mourning Geckos

I went to the Richmond, Va show yesterday and I saw these little tiny geckos that were just too cute for words. So I'm doing a little research on them to get info on the basics, but I was wondering if anyone here keeps them.

I've read they should be kept at room temperature. My house stays at around 72F constantly. It never varies more than a degree or two. Would this be an acceptable temperature?

Any other tidbits of info? I'm really liking them and I'm hoping to pick up one or two when I go to another show.

I don't keep these little guys but they seem very intriguing. I got to see some for myself for the first time this year at the Tucson Reptile Show. I was blown away by them. I like the fact that you keep them in a small colony, and because they reproduce by parthenogenesis. He said his colony lay their eggs in cycles, without effort. This way he's not overrun with eggs at one time. Very cool stuff. He said they are a blast to watch interact with each other. The guy selling them was a character. I wish I would have gotten his name...

I definitely plan on making these guys part of my collection. :D From what I'm reading, their care is much like crested gecko care and are pretty easy to take care of. I was thinking of getting a cage soon and getting two or three.

Exciting stuff! I read and heard similar information as you. I'm trying to keep the diversity of species I care for to a minimum as of now. Once I start selling some of the animals I eventually produce, I can see these being a species I'd like to focus on. They are very interesting, and not so common, which is a huge plus to me.

I can't wait to get some of these. I've been dropping hints to my husband that I'm going to be getting some soon. He's not thrilled but he hasn't said no. :D

im thinking ill be getting some of these soon. did a little research and they sound like exactly what i want. a lizard that is easy to care for and doesnt require any over the top special. i really like that theyre a colony lizard also and would love to watch the hierarchy form.
