First F/T feeding, and a new trick
Spooky and Calypso both ate F/T for the first time tonight! No issues. Snapped them up right away. I'm quite pleased. :D

Also, I think I may have come up with a new trick. I know most people here don't use glass tanks and heat lamps... I do, figured out how to maintain humidity with no issues, so it works for me. I use ZooMed's combo deep domes. So for everyone that does use them, when thawing the rodents, I just stuck them under the dome, on the side that was turned off. The other lamp's heat thawed and heated them in no time. Also did wonders to get the scent to the snakes. Within two minutes, both of them were out of their hides, and running around looking for their meal. lol

    Just thought I'd share! :P

Edit: To correct my sleep deprived grammar. ha ha

I'm new to BP or snakes in general. I've had my BP for 5 days now. Got him last friday. Fed him f/t sunday.
I put my BP in a cardboard box, while thawing/heating my F/T fuzzy. I then fed my the fuzzy to my BP. BP took it instantly. I let my BP stay in box (open) for about 30 min till i notice him climbing out. So i put him back into his glass enclosure. Then left him alone for 48 hours. Is there anything wrong in feeding him this way?

I also feed my bp in cardboard box but I only let her sit for about 5-10 mins before I put her back in her enclosure....probably better not to wait 30 mins to prevent an escape
