The little devil got out of his cage last night and I have litteraly torn my house apart all morning to no avail, any tips on finding him?

Put a mouse or two or three, in a cage that 'breathes' in the floor where you last saw him. It might lure him out.
Good luck.

I know someone who made the room cold and placed a heat lamp and hide in there and the snake ended up in there ;)

That kinda sounds like a neat idea but also sounds like a bad idea. If the room is cold and they don't make their way to the heat you also run the risk of them getting sick.

No real tips but to keep looking. A lot of times I hear about escapes, not all, but a majority of them are found still very close to the original enclosure. Basically being a snake they do want to hide or find warm areas so they places they get into can be crazy sometimes. Sometimes they can be in or around electrical equipment taking the warmth off them. Any nook or cranny is a spot for them to hide so really look at EVERY possible space. example: don't just look in the drawers of a dresser, actually remove the drawers as well to see if the sanke might be in some crack around them.
The size of you sanke will obviously affect the places it could hide. Hopefully yours was a real big one to prevent it from getting anywhere too terrible.
