RIP Silver Snake

To the little silver snake that I twitching around in my grass this morning, I'm sorry.

I know you probably have no idea what hit you, but it was my dog. Had I not been pouring my morning coffee, I may have been able to save you.

I know, it was so sad :( My boyfriend yelled "Gidget, drop that snake!". I thought it was one of mine so I put down the coffee and ran out the back door and well....you know the rest.

Poor snake but thankfully for your dog it was not a venomous one (Im assuming).

Bummer, any idea what species?
