    Hog Island Boa enclosure
I recently picked up a female Hog Island boa and I was just wondering what size tub would I be able to keep her in till adulthood. Or should I just get a full size enclosure. I know they grow slightly larger than an adult female BP. I currently have her in a 20gal Long tank. Any input would help. Thanks in advance.

ive heard boa's dont get stressed like bp's do from being in large enclosures when theyre young, so you could go straight to a large enclosure, bush it some, and thin it out as the snake ages, the 421d from boaphile is perfect for adult boas

I know you said tub but a 20 gallon long will be ok for now. Our adult female is almost 5ft long and we keep her in a 40 gallon breeder. It is a good size for her even if she does reach 6 ft.

You can get a 40 breeder at Petco when they have their 1$ per gallon sale = $40. It comes around every 6 months or so.
