A friend seems to think so. They don't look like yb daddy to me but, it has me looking through moms breeding record.

Was the female a visual axanthic or was it just one of the males you bred the female to..

If you used a male axanthic and a male yellow belly, but you don't know if the YB locked with that female, and the female dam is NOT a visual axanthic, then you messed up.

The possibility exists that the male YB locked with the female and just gave you normals. Which means you now can't tell which of those babies are actually het axanthics and which ones are not.. If thats the case, you won't be able to market those babies as 100% hets.

Even if the female was a 100% het axanthic and one male was a 100% het or visual, by putting another male in there that is not a het, you still have the same scenario. You wouldn't know if the normal appearing babies were actually possible hets or just normals from the yellow belly.

So tell us exactly what the pairings were for this clutch. If the dam is a visual axanthic you have nothing to worry about and they are all hets.

Yb x VPI Axanthic = 100% het VPI axanthics. I didn't think they were yb.

So the female (dam) was the vpi axanthic then right? If so then your all good.
