    100% Het for Caramel Albino
I'm thinking about getting a 100% Het for Caramel Albino, as a cheaper way to get a morph that I really like. I'll usually spend money on any new snake that I want but I feel I should start saving so i'll try a het ball python since I have never had any hets before. Can anyone tell me the genetic ratio of a male 100% Het for Caramel Albino bred to a female normal? Although she is possibly 100% Het for Cinnamon as this is what my friend told me that I got her from. She's my very first ball python out of the many that I have.

breeding a het to a normal leaves you with 50% hets, 50% normals statistically. With recessive hets, you will not be able to tell the difference between the hets and the normals, so in this case we would call them all 50% possible hets.

cinnamon is a visual het, so if it looks like a cinnamon its a cinnamon, if it looks like a normal, its a normal.

Het to Normal would give you 50% Het. Het to Het would be 66% Het w/ a 25% chance of getting a visual morph.

How about Het for Albino to a normal?

A Het is a Het...Doesn't matter for what....You will use the same rule. Speaking for recessives anyway.

    Here are some basic examples:
    Het x Normal = 50% PH
    Het x Het = 66% PH / 25% Visuals
    Het x Visual = 100% Het / 50% Visuals

Edit: Obviously a Het would need to be bred to a Het of the same gene for these rules to apply. And the % is only based on statistics.

ANY HET to a normal will give you 50%het chance, no more and no less.

    To produce a Caramel Albino..

    You need the following:
    100% Het Caramel x 100% Het Caramel
    Caramel x Normal
    Caramel x Caramel

Caramel X Normal will not produce a visual, you will get 100% hets.

Caramel X 100% Het Caramel will statistically give you a 50% shot per egg of a visual or 100% het

Caramel to normal would be 100% hets. Caramel to het would give you a visual
