    what does that mean?
    clean vs. dirty? i get that its not about the animal needing a bath.
    does it just mean a clean animal is brighter maybe & if so why not just say that?:confused: :rolleyes:
    i'm just trying to understand all this terminology...:oops:

    I believe clean vs dirty speaks to the quality of an animal. The most common use I've seen for it is to describe bees. I happen to have both a clean bee and a dirty bee. A clean bee is one that has very little speckling/brown spots. Where as a dirty bee is going to have lots of speckling/brown spots.

    oh ok do clean ones end up being higher value then the dirty? i dont think it should matter cuz they're both gorgeous! :D

    In general the "clean" look tends to be more popular than a "dirty" one...so they can sometimes bring more dollars for the same morph. But they're still subjective terms and quality is in the eye of the beholder. ;)
