    Black Blood Question
I love the looks of the really, really dark black blood adults - the ones who are almost solid black opposed to the black bloods who are more of a smokey grey/black.

For example (just from google search) these are two that I think are insane (in a good way!):

While I don't like the looks of the lighter/smokier ones as much like this one (as an example):

So question...is there a way to judge baby black bloods to determine which ones will grow up to become more blacker rather than grey as adults? Or is it just the luck of the draw and there's no way to determine how a baby will color up as an adult? If you can kinda guess as to which babies might be darker as adults what are some characteristics to look for? Thanks!

Babies hatched with dark chrome / black heads will make the darkest / blackest adults..

Heres 2 examples that we produced and have..You'll notice the difference/ variability in a clutch..One will become a very dark / black and one will be less than such..

Don't forget to take a good look at the parents.

The parents to the 2 above are both black animals the female having a chrome to black head and the males being black..Variability and generations..

So basically look for babies with already black heads and overall darker appearance and those will most likely become solid/near solid black/darker adults - also look at parents if possible. I think I can manage that :) Thanks for the help.

Tim: that first black headed baby is beautiful.
