Two BPs like Night and Day! What the heck is this?
I bought these two a while back. They're the same age, not related. The male, D'Artagnon, is a het hypo and the female, Fantine, is a normal, right?

Okay, so why is Fantine getting lighter and lighter with each shed? And D'Artagnon is still dark as could be.

I don't know the first thing about recognizing BP morphs. I can barely tell a pin with a lot of pattern from a bee. So I figured I would leave it up to the pros. I'm not going to be bummed if she's not some fancy whatever, but its just really bugging me. I love them both to death and think she is a very pretty normal anyway, I just thought I'd try to get some confirmation.

Here they are side by side a day or two after I got them.

Here she is more recently, about three weeks ago.

I will pull her out when she is awake and try to get the best picture I can. These are all taken with my fantastic phone camera. :( Sorry for quality.

Its sort of hard to tell in these pictures, but D'Artagnon is very black in his markings and head, while Fantine has a sort of faded top of her head which gets like a lighter brown. And as you can sort of see in the second picture she has some grey shades between her markings where her side and belly meet. Those little in between spaces are sort of greyish white.

the grey shades between markings are called "flames" or "flaming", and some normals are just bright like yours, mines that way too
