Jungle?

Can anyone explain to me the term "Jungle"? I had a local breeder here tell me that it is another term for a normal. Is this true?

No it's another meaning for aberrant pattern. Or often pastels are called jungle pastel.

The only time I've heard of the term "jungle" when referencing a Ball Python is when it is used with a "jungle pastel" or "pastel jungle". I have no idea where it comes from or who came up with the term, but I think it may have originated from Greg Graziani.

Would this be considered a Pastel Jungle?

She is my new female Pastel. Is the abarent pattern genetic? I was told by the same breeder that the pattern is affected by the temp of incubation.

To my understanding jungle pastel and pastel are the same thing we in the hobby are just lazy so we shorten it to pastel. Same morph

That's what I thought as well. If temps affected pattern. Then explain spiders. Right.
