    Ball Python Burn
My female ball python got a very small burn under her jaw yesterday. It wasn't her heat pad or anything i was letting her crawl around and she burnt herself on a ceramic heat emitter from another snakes tank. I called a vet and she said to apply a 2:1 ratio of water to hydrogen peroxide to stop any infections. Is there anything else I should do? I put her on newspaper to help keep it sterile. Any tips? The area of the burn also seems to be slightly raised.

you can use a dab of neosporin without the pain reliever. otherwise just keep her enclosure clean and follow the vet's advice.

Actually you want to stay away from peroxide as it slows down the growth of tissue.

You want to use betadine and you can apply some triple antibiotic ointment without pain killer.

That is only if we are talking about minor burn, severe burn need to be seen by a vet as antibiotic might be required.
