My pastel female i picked up!

i got her from Xan powers and she is a beast! reduced patter i would say the best at the show, my cell phone cam sucks so you can barely see her colors

Congrats on the succesful feed! Shes gorgeous.

On a side note, I found it funny how you said "its probably gonna burst open, thats why I hate frozen thawed". I've heard a lot of people reinforce this idea; however, the only time I've seen it happen is when my friend put his rodent in boiling water for way too long and the stomach was protrudingly big by the time he was ready to feed it to his bp. Ended up with guts everywhere :O

Has anyone actually seen the rodent explode while using a correct method to thaw ? Sorry to hijack your thread, grats on ur new bp ^^

I've never had one explode [laughing like mad at the thought of that] *but* I have had their innards "fall out" during the Zombie Dance.

I suspect the freezing weakens the collagen bonds in the very thin skin that covers their bellies.

On the upside, I now have a good working knowledge of internal mouse anatomy.

lol thanks guys, and ive had my adult male normal squeeze one until all the guts were all over the place.... maybe it was my thawing method

Never had a mouse actually explode while thawing, but Koga has burst one while constricting. Mixed responses on the facebook picture XD
