Feeding Hamsters?

I can get hamsters cheaper then I can Mice, the petstore sells the hamsters that have been beat up to much from other hamsters or are very aggressive. I was going to buy some today, but couldnt do it I see them as little kid pets and not annoying rodents like mice, and also wasnt sure if they were good to feed.

Is it all right Feeding hamsters?
Nutrtion just as good?
All that hair isnt harder for the BP to digest?

Honestly it wouldn't be a good idea. Hamsters are not readily available for feed and do not breed as well, so if for some reason there were none and your snake got stuck on them, thereinlies the problem.

The hair is like a binder, iirc, so more hairy rodents MIGHT be harder to digest/produce more gas/cause constipation.

Hamsters will chew the heck out of your snake if it doesnt nail it right away. And just like jessica said if you get them used to hamsters you may have a hard time gettin em off of them

They are way furrier than a mouse or rat as well. Plus the fact that they are 1000x more aggressive and will not hesitate to chew the crap out of the snake. Hamsters, and gerbils are huge accidents waiting to happen. Yes rats and mice are more expensive but.... It's really about what's best for the animal not the wallet. IMHO
You could always try bulk ordering ft of you want to try and save $. Or looking for a local breeder.
