Rack building questions

Ive seen some people using cat pans instead of the basic sterilite or rubbermaids, will the cat pans work just as well? Trying to build on a budget so ant info will help.

I don't see why they wouldn't, some people use restaurant bus types. Its up to you. As long as you can make it work and provide your animals the proper temps.

Robin has a great set of instructions on her website that I plan on trying once I have the need for a hatchling rack. No reason it couldn't be slightly modified to hold adults instead.
