    Reduced Pattern Clown
    Here's our newest addition:
    A reduced pattern Clown male!
He's about one year now and will hopefully breed some of our females this year....

Clowns are an all time favorite of mine. I hope to acquire a bunch of het females down the road to start with. Your male is exactly the "model clown" I want to produce. Good luck with him, congrats!

Thanks, there's a funny history behind him...
He was originally sold as a female to a friend of the original breeder. And he power-fed him to about 1100g in one year. When he was going to introduce a male to it he popped "her" and quickly discovered that it was in fact a male. He then contacted the original breeder and told him about what had happened and he returned the clown to him and instead got an adult Clown-female which had just laid eggs. The original breeder put him up for sale on his website. We had been desperately searching for a Clown anywhere in Europe that we could purchase, but every time a Clown was put up for sale it was immediately sold. The original breeder had mailed us that same evening and had written that he had added this clown to his list of available animals, but unfortunately we hadn't discovered the mail until next morning because we had went to bed early.
So when we discovered his mail we immediately went to his website and made a reservation, unfortunately it wasn't correctly functioning so many breeders could make a reservation on the same animal. We didn't read the ad about him that clear and when we had made a reservation on him we discovered that it said "booked" on his ad. We were devastated believing that someone else had grabbed him from us. But that afternoon the original breeder contacted us and said that we were the ones that had booked him!
We then picked him up a few days later and now he's here!
