Here are some images of some rat kidney that I processed and sectioned.
I used a Karnovsky's fixative (paraformaldehyde / glutaraldehyde with a phosphate buffer for the primary fix and osmium tetroxide for secondary fix.) uranyl acetate for the tertiary fix. Post stained with lead citrate. Thin sections about 40 nanometers thick. Images obtained using a JEOL 1200 Transmission Electron Microscope. I'll post more soon. I have tons of microscopy images on all kinds of scopes since I'm getting my AAS in Electron Microscopy.
