    Bp not shedding?
Ok so I got my baby Bp around early july and it still hasn't shed. All my husbandy is good by the way. Is there any reason that it's not shedding. I have it in a ten gallon tank w a plexiglass lid two identical snug hides heat mat and tstat set with the warm side at 90 and cool side at 82. Humidity stays around 67 to 75 most of the time. He has only missed one meal in the time it's been w me. Last time I weighed him he was around 100 g.

What are you feeding him and how often? It sounds like you might not be feeding him enough. I got a BP mid July and she's shed 3 times since I got her, granted she shed shortly after I got her and just had her most recent shed yesterday. Babies tend to shed fairly frequently.

Edit: How often they shed is pretty much tied to how they are fed not how they are kept. Husbandry comes in to play with how well they shed.

Fuzzies are rather small for a 100g BP. Try feeding him a weaned or small mouse instead. I aim for 10-15% of their body weight when I feed. My little girl was 70g when I got her in July, she's close to 260g now and I feed her once a week.

This is why your snake isn't shedding, Give it rat pups if possible, and increase prey size accordingly.

my Pin didn't shed shed for like 3 months also, but once I started her on rat pups, like a week after she shed. Apparently ther's a connection, lol
