Experimenting with Rebel T1i - Morticia
You've probably already seen my snake, so this is nothing new, but I was experimenting with my brothers Sony Rebel T1i today and heres what I came up with. Thanks for looking :)

Trying to get more professional looking photo's like some of the amazing ones I've seen here on picture of the month. But she is a really active bp, wont ever sit still when shes out of her cage.

I'm a photographer. I hope you are open to some advice. The color seems a bit off. You may want to color correct in Photoshop or some program like it. Also, I would use either a back or white sheet or piece of cloth as your background. The snakes color seem to get lost with the orange hue that is present.
    Were you using a flash?
    Hope this helps.

You could try the cold bowl trick, that will slow her down a bit.

If you put a bowl or hide on top of them they will usually ball up.

If you put a bowl in the freezer or fridge for a while....then put it over the snake...the coldness will make your snake sit in one spot so you can take some photos.
