    Canada/US boarder shipping???
    Hi. If I would like to buy a snake from a US breeder and i'm in Canada, are there preliminary steps that need to be taken? Or is it even possible at all? Jus wonderin!

    Yes, the breeder will have to fill out CITES paperwork and you'll be responsible for paying for that and any associated import fees. I don't know how much it costs now, but it used to be in the $500 range.

    Ya I have seen that site. There was no particular breeder in mind for the shipping. I jus wondered if there ever arose a snake that i found in the states that i wanted. That sounded weird. LOL.

    If your unable to drive and pickup the snake then you will have to deal with the paperwork.

    Ive sold to a few ppl in Canada who drove 2-3 hours to Michigan, and declared the snakes at customs so no paperwork was needed with shipping.

    Try snakemans exotics. Rich parinello is a great guy and he has cities for canada. I know hes one of the few us breeders that does the canada show.
