    Why won't she poop?
Autumn (my female lemon blast) hasn't defecated in quite some time. She urates but not as often as I would expect. Her hatch date is 4-16-11 I got her 8/25/11 weighing 216g. Feeding lg mouse once week. On 9-6-11 she weighed 234g. Defecated last on 9-17-11 and fed same day. 9-22-11 urated and lg mouse, 10-2-11 weanling (thought maybe in shed but she is not) 10-8-11 lg mouse. Now weighs 321g. Still no poop. She is in a 24 x 24 x 11.5 boaphile cage. 2 hides, water bowl, branch. Humidity and temps are good. She has been very active at night but less so during the day and she has become a bit "sketchy" when it comes to handling her so I have been leaving her alone. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

She will go soon don't worry. Letting them crawl around or a warm bath can help speed things up. They don't go that often

I wouldn't worry right now. Mine only tend to defecate about once a month on their own, no worries! She's probably got a good one stewing in there, that's why she's getting antsy :P

Snakes are masters at energy conservation, and part of that is having a slow metabolism, which means less poop because they get more out of their prey. So poop once a month and sometimes even less often is completely fine. She'll be just fine :)

Its a good sign when babies arent pooping a lot. This means their in a growth spurt and hungry.

My hatchlings poop once every 30-45 days.

Hermes peed on me about a week ago. That was sure a big surprise! He must have REALLY had a FULL bladder! Had to change my jeans and wash a throw pillow and rinse a spot on the sofa cushion! Now I keep a incontinence pad on my lap ;)

+1 on the warm bath. I have been pooped on three times by two different snakes and now I use an old towel on my lap whenever I have them out.

I've waited almost 3 weeks for Iggy's first poop.
She did it while in my lap.
[and yet, I was overjoyed....how disturbing is that?] LOL

She was at first acting sluggish, then get antsy and I noticed her fanny looked "funny" [too "fat"] and then her tail tip went up and out slid all this goop!

I gently stroked her front to back and it just....kept....coming.

Finally, the tail went down and she was done.

Then she was back to her rambling, exploring little self.

[you are gonnna get it right in the lap...I'd bet on it]...LOL
