    Info on Nicaraguan boas
I'm picking up a baby Nicaraguan Boa tonight. I have done lots of research and know about the general nasty attitude that they are known for. Although I do not believe that snakes from certain regions actually carry a worse attitude than others based on their locale. Is there any other info that I should know about before I embark on this new journey? Thanks in advance!

I have one, she's pure evil. I've tried everything, can't mellow her out. Good luck with your new boa.

I have 1.1 young ones and they don't mind handling at all out of their tubs. I can reach in the males tub and just grab him, although sometimes I think he will strike but he hasn't, yet. The female will hiss mouth wide open, so I use a piece of Styrofoam just in case to take her out and once she's out she's a puppy, but again mines are still very young.
@TheWinWizard - Sorry to hear your Nic is a she-devil.

I have owned quite a few Nics, and they are no more nasty than Colombian boas. I only have one Nic that has a bad temperament. All of the others are pretty docile.

I have a Nic. boa, and she was pretty tame to start with but has become more and more short tempered with age. It's something I like about the species though, it makes keeping them interesting. I don't have a lot of experience with other BCI's but I certainly find that mine at least is a complete chainsaw :D
