Never try to fill a retics water bowl on feeding night BEFORE giving her a rat.. Even if she appears to be sound asleep..

OW!! She must have hit every nerve in my fingers because this hurts like hell! Insta-swell. It really doesn't look bad but she hit pretty hard. I wish it had been a ball :(

I never blame the animal when it's a reptile (or evil parrot fish lol). As soon as I closed the door to her cage trying not to bleed all over my carpet she went back to her corner like uh ohh, that wasn't a rat! Lol!

Yeah I have a fat purple pinky now but the ring finger hurts the worst. She just came out of nowhere across 4ft of cage. I haven't been hit like that since I got bit by an 8ft burm 15 years ago that turned my entire arm black n blue. I'm glad this one only got those 3 fingers. Man those little retics sure can move a lot faster than the mainland retics.

They do have a loooooong reach, I hope the wounds don't hurt too too bad, for too long.
