    No idea why he is a rex. No parent is a rex at all, their is 1.5 and 4 for the females are siamese, and one is solid black het siamese.

    Then this popped out. It will molt into siamese of some sort but its cool like this. Has a silvery reflection to it.

    Should be more coming, from this Siamese BReeders. All 5 females had litters 2 weeks ago of 15 each.

    Maybe one of the parents is a "loose rex" and you don't know it?

    Rex is a gene that's either there or not there, it's not recessive so it has to be there, no different than a dominate trait in ball pythons.

    Loose rex's come from double rex X double rex pairings if I recall correctly.

    Loose rex's can obviously throw rex kits but they look like standard coat rats as adults, very little to no curly hair and only slightly curly whiskers.
