    my female python has had 8 small rats in a row she recently shed on monday but now refuses to feed,would this be due to breeding season,even though i dont breed mine?

    My female did the same thing last year at this time, and she's still not breeding size. She ate once in Jan, then began weekly again in end of Feb. This year she's still eating but my male stopped 2 weeks ago. He's 15 months and almost 1100 grams so I'm not worried. As long as your husbandry is ok, keep offering weekly and shewill start again when she feels like it.
