I just watched my versi molt!

Ohhh it was so cool! I just happened to notice it sitting upside down in a hammock it'd made at the top of the enclosure and as I'm watching something kind of blueish clear is wiggling out of it. It was molting and I was so excited. So I sat there and watched and it was much faster than I thought it would be. Very cool. Can't wait to see it again. I didn't manage to get any good pictures...next time.

Congrats on a good molt and good timing! I've still not seen any of mine molt in person, just walked in on them sitting next to a carbon copy of themselves :P it's very cool, and it'll start to take them longer and longer with age.

Molts and successful feedings are easily two of the most exciting parts of keeping these guys IMO.

I just missed mine this morning. :( Awesome that you got to see it! Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

My versi s'ling molted on our drive home from TN this past summer. Pretty wild to watch, and not at all fun! Octa lost three legs by the time it was over.:( They all grew back during the next molt though!
