    Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm surprised you haven't had an escape before. I use the same tubs in my quarantine rack, which really isn't a rack yet. With all of the tubs I have at least 4 pieces of electric tape on them, one on each side. It's a pain to open them but they can't push the top off. Even a small snake would be able to push the top off, so you might want to secure your pin and your boa. It's always better safe than sorry.

    No temp control? That's not good. Run the wire through the wall and keep the probe in the cage

    That wasn't controlling the temp. It was just a thermometer. It looks like he's using flexwatt so it should be connected to a thermostat and you shouldn't put that probe for a thermostat in a tub.

    slightly annoying that you assume that but I have a thermostat hooked up to the heat other vids explain my temp control

    lol thank you and yes the probe is taped down to the heat tape outside the tub. This set up is temporary until i build a new rack
