Safe to feed mice hermit crab pellets?
I know they'll eat just about anything, but I have a lot of old pet food laying around the house that I want to use up. I want to feed my bp feeders some pellets I have, but I'm not sure if they're safe for both the mouse and the bp itself. I don't want to pass anything dangerous onto my snake.

Here are the listed ingredients, please tell me if they are safe:

Wheat flour high gluten, fructose, carrot powder, propylene glycol, soybean oil, glucono-delta-lactone, artificial vanilla flavoring, ethoxyquin

It also says it contains krill(shrimp) and fruit sugar(the fructose i assume), not sure if those are safe to pass on as well.

    Thanks in advance, pros.

I really don't think it has the nutritional value that the mice need. You want to feed your feeders the optimum food, so they in return can be the optimum food for your snake.

Alright, thanks. That didn't answer my question, but it's satisfactory.

I just don't want to ignore and throw away what I have.

As long as its just a treat thing I see no problem in feeding them those pellets sparingly.
Just make sure your mice are getting enough grains and fresh green veggies as well

Mice are not veggie eaters, they are grain eaters. Veg should not be given daily. Maybe once a week if you really feel like it.

As far as the pellets, I don't think there is anything in them that would harm the mice, but they're no good for daily food. Treats, maybe, food, no.

I really don't know. She seemed to feel there were some potential effects.
