My bp has been on live rats but I couldn't find any around here readily available. So the lady at the pet store gave me a free fuzzy mouse just to see if he would take it. I am 98% positive it was thawed, and I sat it in warm water before offering it to him. He took it and squeezed for a while then just let it go and moved away....does he not like mice or do you think it was not thawed completely?

Yea, I would reheat it using a hair dryer and concentrate on the head.

Did you leave it in or take it out? I have a couple that will take it, "kill it" and then wait a bit to eat it.

Aye and I think you and he will be better off in the long run I am really ttrying to switch our little normal to rats now because when he get to be full grown 2-3 LG mice a feeding would be a little much when one rat should do the trick. So I would say wait for the rat and feed away. Because this guy just wont eat rats ATM but Ill get him switched soon.:P
