male or female? (popping pics)
Title says it all, got 2 normals as rescues from the local zookeeper who also does reptile rescue in his free time. He didn't probe or pop them and was just guessing that one was a male and the other a female from their spurs... The other one is in shed so I'm not messing with it yet, but I popped the other one and am pretty sure it's a female as her scent glands are popped out but I can't get any hemipenes.
I know the pics aren't too good for this sort of thing but it's then best we can get with current camera lense. Let me know what you think.

honestly without better pictures its gonna be hard to tell. Maybe someone else will be of better assistance.
Re: male or female? (popping pics)
I dont have a ton of experience. Ive only watched videos, seen pictures and popped my own ball python, but that looks like a female to me. If it isnt, then I need to start questioning my own snakes sexuality again. I dont see any hemepenes and it doesnt look like a whole lot more pressure will change that. The vents pretty far out.
Just my 2 cents, but I think youve got a little lady on your hands = P

I second that notion. I popped mine a good four or five times just to make sure I wasnt jumping to an incorrect conclusion. Your absolutely right jess. Best to make certain.

female, but like they said, do it again to make sure, and if you take pics of the second pop, take them from a different angle and out of direct light
