Hey guys I'm new to breeding and I have a question. I have male and female lesser platty and they are both ready for breeding this season. I started dropping the temp to about 82 degrees during the day and 72 at night and shortened the "daylight" hours from 12 to 10 hours a day. She is eating like a madwoman but he has pretty much gone off feed altogether at this point. It's been a little over 2 weeks since I made the changes to the environment and so far I have introduced him into her habitat twice, both times for a period of 3 days. He has showed absolutely no interest in locking up with her so far. Am I doing something wrong or am I just being impatient lol? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
