    Is this normal??

I wondering about the black line above the "alien heads". I hatched a few this year with these markings. The only other snake that is close is a black pastel which these are not. Is this normal or something to dinker with. The mother has produced dark offspring every year, almost sable looking. Any thoughts?

I've seen many normals with connecting alien heads ie the "lines" - if you feel you want to dinker with it then go for it. May make some nice babies when paired with something like you mentioned: a black pastel, cinny, etc Cute little baby.

I was referring to the black line above the "eyes" on the alien heads.

    Hi,

Can we get pics in better light showing a lot of the side pattern right down to where it meets the belly?

i have a normal, and he doesnt have anything like that anywhere on his patterns, and i know theres alot of variance between normals, but still. i would definitly dinker with it if i were you, even if it is just "normal"

Here's a few more pics. It's hard to get the lighting right.

They are pics of a few different animals. The female has been producing dark hatchling in every clutch. And it seems that different males do not really effect the dark/peppered babies. I was kicking around the idea of "dirty balls" because of the spoted/peppered sides, but after the "screw ball" thing, I think I would have to choose a different name.

Here's one of the typical "dirtys". I've been thinking Sable or Granite for the last few years, but I'm not sure.

It almost looks like granite patterning, doesn't it? The scattered black? At least... it looks like the pattern in the hunting for morphs section. I am still new to identifying balls, but that would be my inexperienced input lol.
