Question about QT....

I have 4 snakes,

1. Suni who I've had for around a year

In QT:
2. Meatball who I got on May 18
3. Larry who my boyfriend found on CL on July 3
4. My spider who still doesn't have a name who I got on Aug 15

My pinstripe is coming in the beginning of November.

Technically I would want to do a 90 QT for the spider, but by the time November rolls around his QT time with the other two is up to 2 1/2 months. Would it be okay to cut it 10-15 days short to move the three in QT in with Suni so I can have them all in the same rack instead of resetting the clock again for another 3 months when the pin comes? It just seems more risky to add another snake to the QT group when their time is almost over.

I think it should be fine to move them out before the new one arrives. Some people only do quarantine for 60 days. I have one that I only quarantined for 30 days because I need to move stuff out of quarantine to make room for new arrivals.

With no signs of mites or other issues I would say its fine. It has been 75 or so days so I would think its fine but it is up to you in the end:P

2 1/2 would probably be fine for the sake of the rest of the collection as long as there has been literally no problems with the spider.

Yeah, you're definitely in the clear, nothing to worry about at this point...I definitely admire your quarantine practices though, you're strict! :gj:

I just see no point in investing money in something and then flushing it, lol :)
