smallest hatchling eats the most mice?
So of the 5 ball pythons I hatched last month, the "runt" has eaten SIX mice, and the biggest one is still holding out and hasn't eaten anything. This is completely weird. It's like I can predict how soon they'll eat and how much based on their hatching weights. But they were all pretty big, and all within a few grams of one another... the "runt" was 59grams and the biggest was 63 grams.

I wouldn't guess a few grams would make such a big difference, but the smallest ate first, followed by the 2nd smallest, and so on. So now the smallest is the heaviest, and the biggest is the lightest. They've all neatly reversed order. Is this... common?

RELATED QUESTION: So now I have four hatchlings that have eaten, and one that hasn't. They hatched Sept 5. How long do I give the holdout before I start assist feeding?
