Breeder Blogs

I have asked this before, but I want to ask this again, since I just realized that I have been blogging (most) every day during the work week for the past three years, plus some.

How often do you read Breeder's Blogs?

Whose do you read?

What draws you to them?

What is interesting, and what isn't?

I spend too much time browsing all of these forums to pay much attention to blogs. I can't even name any besides yours.

I get my daily dose of your blog every morning H and it's more than a year now. I salut you for doing it everyday (almost :D)

I wish I could blog more than I do - and mine's not really a blog so much as a journal.

I guess I just don't feel like I have much interesting to say that others would want to read about. I'm trying to get better at adding an entry more frequently than I have been.

I do enjoy your blog though Heather!

It's hard to say what draws my attention towards a certain blog. Most of the time it's just karisma (did I spell that right? lol), or interesting tips.

I use my FB fan page like a blog. From what I've heard and been told, people like to hear more of one's opinion in their blogs, and not just day to day things. I have no idea how true that is though. I mostly just share stuff I like.

Usually I'll go through a sudden ball python blog binge, and start checking lots of breeder availability pages and blogs. But I'll only keep coming back if a.) the availability pages are updated frequently, with cool things or b.) there's a cool blog that is updated frequently. Like, the fact that you update daily keeps me coming back more often than, say, a double recessive that gets posted once per year.

I visit your site, JKobylka, VPI, NERD, TSK. NERD doesn't blog much, but the availability changes rapidly. TSK has a twitter page that waxes and wanes. And VPI has their blog AND their bragging post page--which is almost better than the blog.

EDIT: oh, and I follow BHB and RDR on youtube, but erratically.
