    Using PAM
My snake had mites so like everyone says on here, "spray them with PAM" I did. My mom had some stocked up in the kitchen so I just used that. How does coating the snake with oily stuff get ride of mites? I dont think he likes it at all...okay okay calm down! So I didn't do this but just thought that people might wanna specify "PAM" on here, specially with new owners (like myself) lol. :D

Oh good lord. When we use the acronym PAM on here, we don't mean the kitchen oil stuff. We mean Provent-A-Mite. We really need to start specifying that it's not the kitchen stuff, because if you ask me, that's a pretty dumb acronym to use on a forum where beginners are looking for information. Sorry for the confusion!

Since you used the kitchen stuff on your snake, I highly suggest giving him a good soak and trying to get it off of him. No need for a greasy snake lol.

*EDIT* Hahaha I just read the calm down part  wow I'm slow today! but yes, I agree. It definitely needs to be cleared up. I think a new name for it is in order :P

He said that he didn't really do it. I don't think anyone is actually silly enough to apply cooking spray to their snake.
