    pairing while bps are about to shed
    So I have my het pieds and I paired them last week for 3 days every time I checked in on them the male was on the cool side the female was on the warm. I looked at her today and she is pretty deep in shed. Did they have no interest in each other cuz the female was about to shed or is it because they didn't want to breed? any advice would be great thanks.

    Its still early in the season so they may just not be interested right now. I always put females that are in shed with males and had lock ups as they will breed in shed

    I found they're more enthusiastic right after a shed, so you might as well leave them together.

    But yeah, when they really get going, they won't take a break for shedding.

    Sweet good to know I have them separated right now cuz I had to feed them but I will try pairing them back up right after she sheds fingers crossed lol thanks guys
