When you acquire a new Bp which already has a name, do you rename it? or do you keep it's existing name.... Here's my 9yr old Bp Bleak, I'm thinking if i should rename her, also what would you suggest?

I've only acquired on BP that already had a name and I did rename her.

I'm not the best at suggesting names for other people, with mine I've been going through the alphabet which helps limit name choices.

Maybe name her Hera or Eris. I tend to give mine short simple names so those are the first that come to mind.

That is up to you. Your ball won't know the difference, like a dog, cat or rat would. We don't name ours other than marking their tubs "Pastel male", "Spider female" or "Normal female/Clear Belly", etc.

    I know, I'm a lot of help... :P

I'm the same way. They have an ID number and whatever morph they are.
However, my better half and son come up with names for all of them and the names are completely off the wall and random!

I name everyone. They all have an id number, but they are my pets and "kids" too, so they all get a name that means something personal to me. You can certainly rename your BP! Even dogs and cats will learn a new name with time and patience. But snakes don't "know" their names like dogs and cats do, so you don't have to worry about teaching them something new. Name away!

How about Anis, Matilda, or Isis?

I guess we do have more than morph/tub numbers to go by sometimes, but just physical descriptions. Like Clear Belly because she has a clear belly, One Eye came to us with an injured eye, Reduced Pattern, and our big girl goes by Fat-___, etc. :gj:
